Urea control valves are used in some of the most severe applications in a fertilizer production facility.
The urea synthesis process is extremely corrosive. When dealing with CO2 compressor reactors, letdown valves, or stripper applications, valve design and material selection are critical. Additionally, urea is a product with very low dielectric that also creates a large amount of dust. These characteristics make reliable measurement difficult.
